1.1 Christmas tree balls from paper and foil.

Material required for Christmas Tree Balls

  1. Paper
  2. Scissors
  3. Foil
  4. Thread and Needle
Process:
  • Take a 4x4 size paper and crumble it into the shape of a ball.
  • Wrap aluminium foil around it.
  • Pass a thread through the ball with the help of a needle and make a loop to hang and your Christmas tree ball is ready !!

  1. Egg tray
  2. Acrylic paint
  3. Beads

Process:
  • Take a small piece of egg tray (1 mould)
  • Paint it with the colour of your choice.
  • Pass the ribbon or thread through it with the help of a needle.
  • Make a loop and secure the thread with help of bead.

1.3. Newspaper Ornament

Waste Home Materials required:

  1. Old newspaper
  2. Some glitters
  3. Fevicol or glue
  4. Thread and needle
  5. Scissor
Process:
  • Cut newspaper in 5×5 size
  • From one corner roll in newspaper and make pipes.
  • Now, tightly roll in the pipe from one end and stick with glue or fevicol
  • Apply some glue over it and dip in glitter powder.
  • Let it dry for 1 hour.
  • Pass the thread from it, make a loop and make a knot to secure the loop.

2. TREE LAMP

Waste Home Material requirements for Tree Lamp:

  1. LED Light strings (easily available at electronic shops)
  2. Branch of a tree
  3. Green tape
  4. Coloured Paper
  5. Scissor
  6. Glue
  7. Cardboard box or vase
  8. Cello Tape
Process
  • Starting from one end of the branch start wrapping LED strings around it. Fix it on the branch by using cello tape, wherever required.
  • Cover the branch with the help of green tape, so that wrapped wire is not visible. Make sure to spare the part where LED is located.
  • Cut small circular pieces from coloured paper and then cut these circular pieces in the shape of a flower. Make a small hole at the middle of the flower to insert LED in it.
  • Now, fix these flowers on the branch wherever LED is located and stick with the help of glue.
  • Place this tree lamp in a painted cardboard box. Make sure to keep some weight like sand or stone inbox so that it could withstand the weight of the tree lamp.

3. OLD CALENDAR LAMPSHADE

  1. An old calendar
  2. Glue
  3. Cardboard
  4. Scissors
  5. Bulb holder set
Process:
  • Cut a piece of cardboard in the shape of square 5 X 5. Cut out a circle at the centre of it to place bulb holder.
  • Tear the pages from calendar and roll in. Stick the end of the roll with glue to prevent it from rolling back. Similarly, make rolls from all pages of the calendar.
  • On the cardboard piece, place two rolls on opposite sides of square cardboard and stick with the help of glue.
  • Now, stick two more rolls on another pair of sides and over a previously placed set of rolls.
  • Similarly, do this for all the rolls by fixing them alternately opposite sides of cardboard piece and lampshade is ready !!

This lampshade will definitely give an awesome look to your interiors. It can be hanged on the ceiling at the centre or above the study table or over some article to be highlighted.
