When we talk about travelling or want to spend some time in a beautiful place, we always prefer mountains and who's not prefer? they indeed a beautiful, comfortable and calm place to give rest to our mind and soul for some days and to soothe our mood. Waterfalls, big mountains, and astonishing forests who don't want to go there?
Today, I'm going to tell you about, 11 places in Uttarakhand that you will love to visit and see the beauty and nature of these places. These Places in Uttarakhand are near to Delhi about 3 to 7 hrs maximum and are Hill Stations Near Delhi
1.Auli.
Auli is full of beautiful tall trees and startled mountains. Mostly you see snow here and we can say it's kinda mini Switzerland.
You will see a bunch of apple orchard, old oaks, and pine trees here, that surrounded all over the mountains and give Auli an astonishing look. It's a beautiful place to spend holidays and give your mind a calm tone.

Cradled in the wilderness of Himalayan ranges,the sprawling town of Almora shaped like a horse-shoe, it is located on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Himalaya range, you can see a pleasant range of Himalaya mountains from here and can visit many beautiful and historic temples around Almora example Jageshwar.
The city also beautiful to roam around and the nature of peoples are also awesome. Besides this, you can also visit Ranikhet which is not so far from Almora.
3.Nainital.

The lake, beautiful snow in winter and weather is always cool makes everyone's hearts beat for it to visit. From the tops of the higher peaks of Nainital gives a "magnificent view of the vast plain of south and a view of Himalayan mountains".
From the top of the higher peaks of Nainital gives an astonishing view of the city called Haldwani which is the nearby plain city From Nainital.
4.Munsyari.

When you want to see a close view of the Himalayan mountains, then Munsyari is the best option for you to visit.
It is located in the Pithoragarh district and 7,200 ft above the sea level and approx. 575 km away from Delhi. People love to skiing here in winters and it is one of the best place to ski also.
Surrounded by pine trees and old oaks this place gives a breathtaking view of Himalayan mountains.
5.Kedarnath.

Kedarnath town in Uttarakhand famous for Kedarnath Temple and one of the Char dams and also one of the holiest pilgrims centres in the lap of Garhwal Himalayas.
It is a Nagar panchayat in Rudraprayag District and situated above 11,755 ft above sea level. The temple is surrounded by mountains and millions of followers visit here every year for worship in Kedarnath Temple.
The place looks stunning in winter when snow spread all over the surrounding and on the Temple like white sheets. It also has a nearby flowing river called the Mandakini river.
6.Badrinath.

Badrinath is also one of the char-dhams and a big pilgrims centre set in the backdrops of Neelkanth mountain peak dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Badrinath is in Chamoli district, the location is very pleasant and calmy and millions of followers come here every year. So if you want to feel relax and want to take the blessings of Lord Vishnu you must go there.
7.Gangotri.
It is also called Chota Char-dham, Gangotri is a town and a municipality in Uttarkashi District. It is a Hindu pilgrims town on the bank of the river Bhagirathi and the origin of the river Ganga.
It is a very astonishing place also, surrounded by big mountains and river flowing between them is a breathtaking view that makes anyone fall in love with this place.
8.Sattal.
Sattal is a very beautiful place, it has a group of seven beautiful freshwater lakes and a stash of natures bounty and loads of migratory birds and several Panasonic vistas that enhance the beauty of nature.
The place is full of oak, pine trees, and apple orchards, etc and it is not far from Nainital. Sattal is near to Bhimtal a town near Nainital.
9.Abbott Mount.
Mount Abbott was established in the 20th century by a British businessman John Harold Abbott. A quaint of the old town, where one can feel and witness the charm of a bygone era through the marvellous church and the 13 isolated cottages dotted across the hills.
The elevation of the mountain is 7000 ft above the sea-level, and it offers a ravishing view of snow-clad Himalayas, feel the tranquillity of surroundings and be at complete peace with birds chirping.
10.Rudra Prayag.
Rudraprayag is a sacred place regarded as one of the panch prayers and a place of great religious significance. Rudraprayag is a town and municipality in the Rudraprayag district. It is lying in the confluence of river Alaknanda and river Mandakini.
Rudraprayag gives you beautiful panoramic views of mountains and river flow between them mesmerizing views will calm the mind and soul with the sound of the flowing river.
11.Mussoorie.
Mussoorie is one of among popular hill stations. It is situated at an altitude of 6000ft above sea-level.
It is famous for its colonial heritage and its religious sites.
If your idea of the perfect holiday involves tranquil hills, untouched nature and a holiday experience that is unadulterated in the truest sense of the term then Mussorie is perfect for you.
How to Reach Mussoorie from Delhi:
It almost takes a Maximum of 8hrs if you travel in the peak Hours like from morning 10am to Evening at 10am and it takes 6hrs if you Travel in Night.
If you are coming from Airport You can hire Cabs like OLA Outstation or Uber they are Convenient but cost you a little more around 4000 INR.
But if you want Cheaper travel, then you first have to go to:
- Kashmere Gate Bus Stand(You can pick Direct bus to Mussoorie)
- Get in the Bus Going to Dehradun
- After Reaching ISBT Dehradun(Bus Stand of Dehradun)
- You can change the bus to Mussoorie or you can Go to the Railway Station via Vikram N0. 5(Name of Local Auto), after Going to Bus Stand get into the bus to Mussoorie.
- Finally you are in Mussoorie.
