1.The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado, USA.
Have you ever watched the movie"The Shining" or read the bestseller novel "The Shining" by Stephan King in 1977, then you probably gonna know which hotel I'm talking about.
The Stanley Hotel is famous about its haunting events like lights flickering off and on, doors abruptly slamming shut, seeing shadows, getting chills, and hearing the laughter of children.
People say that Room 217 haunted by the ghost of Elizabeth Wilson, she was hotel's head housekeeper and during a storm, she was injured during an explosion when she was lightening the lanterns in room 217. There are other rooms also haunted like room number 401 and 428, visitors say that they had reported several voices of children laughing, giggling and running through the corridor.
2.Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Edinburgh castle is reputed to be one of the most haunted places in Scotland and Edinburgh also called the most haunted city in Europe.
Visitors reported phantom piper, a headless drummer, the spirits of French prisoners, colonial prisoners from America's revolutionary war and the ghost of a dog wandering in the grounds dog cemetery.
3.The Catacombs of Paris, Paris, France.
Catacomb's of Paris is a series of an underground tunnel that spans more than 200 miles beneath the city streets and the House's.
It has bones of more than 6 millions former city residents( dating back 1200 years to the Merovingian era).
Those who dare to go after midnight reportedly hear the walls talking to them, disembodied voices try to lure adventures father into tunnels and encouraging them to lose their way and suffer a slow and agonizing death.
Cultists are said to steal bodies from morgues and bring them into Catacomb's to perform evil rituals.
4.RMS Queen Mary, Long Beach, California, USA.
RMS Queen Mary is a retired British Ocean liner that sailed primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967.
It has a famously haunted stateroom called B340 which has a large number of recorded paranormal activities with numerous stories of haunted encounters recorded in the ship's logs.

5.Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, San Francisco Bay, California, USA.
Alcatraz was an American prison, where most of the notorious criminals tortured, suicide and hanged. The spirits of these criminals wandering around the prison.
Visitors reported the tortured voices, screams and walking of someone after midnight. Nowadays it's an isolated island situated at San Francisco Bay.
6.Borley Rectory, Essex, England.
Borley Rectory located in a desolate sparsely populated area near the east coast of England. Borley called the most haunted place in England.
Harry price paranormal investigator in 1929 investigate the rectory and found paranormal activities like phantom footsteps, strange lights, ghostly whispers, a headless man, a girl in white and the spirit of a nun.
Local's said that a monastery had once been located on the site and that a 13th-century monk and a beautiful young novice were killed while trying to elope from the place. The monk was hanged and his would-be bride was bricked up alive within the walls of her convent.
7. The Martyles Plantation, St.francisville, Louisiana, USA.
The Martyles Plantation notoriously haunted by the ghost of a slave who took revenge on her womanizing owner by poisoning his children.
Legend has it that when slaves discovered her action they hanged her from a nearby tree.
Her apparition has since been spotted roaming the house in a white apron and green turban and several other spirits reported here who died from yellow fever their souls seem to have stuck around here too.
8.Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
In the 1800s and early 1900s, America was ravaged by a deadly disease known by "White death"- or tuberculosis.
To cure this disease a new structure was built known as Waverly Hills, it was considered as a most advanced tuberculosis sanatorium in the country but even then most of the people succumbed to the disease.
It was estimated around 100's of people succumbed to the disease. The visitors had reported the spirits of those dead or succumbed people there and heard the voices of screaming and crying.
9.Eastern State Penitentiary,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
The history of Eastern State Penitentiary is full of suicide, madness, disease, murder and torture making it easy to imagine the spirits of troubled souls left behind to roam its abandoned walls.
Visitors had reported the roaming of ghost spirit around the Penitentiary and heard screams and ghost whisperings.
10.The Tower of London, London, England.
The historic castle had seen its fair share of torture, execution and murder in its nearly 1000 year history, the sheer number of spirits haunts the tower.
A few of the tower's most famous ghostly figures include Anne Boleyn who was beheaded on tower green in 1536 on order from her husband Henry VIII after giving birth to a stillborn son.
She often spotted wandering the ground carrying her own several heads.
